How do I download a picture from TagTag to my mobile phone?
Can I share my pictures with other TagTag visitors?

When uploading a picture to TagTag I get an error message displayed: "Picture is too big". What is wrong?
The picture I downloaded does not display on my mobile phone. What could be wrong?

 

Q: How do I download a picture from TagTag to my mobile phone?

A: For downloading pictures from TagTag to your mobile phone you need to have mobile internet services available with your mobile operator. On each picture detailed page in our pictures directory you will find the link for direct downloading the picture to your mobile phone. Using your mobile phone browser go to for example: http://tagtag.com/pic/kyqdbvheqa, where the last letters in the link stand for picture code.

(1) If you would not like to type the whole URL address to your mobile phone's browser, open our mobile site at http://tagtag.com. Downloading a picture is a simple three step procedure.

(2) In the text field enter the picture code.

(3) Press Get to open the picture detailed page.

(4) On picture detailed page you get all information about the picture (picture size, file type, picture dimensions). Select the Download picture link to download the picture to your mobile phone. The download should start automatically. Depending on mobile phone model you will be asked to save the picture to your mobile phone or picture will save automatically.

If you want to resize the picture before downloading to your mobile phone select the Edit picture link.

Note that when resizing an animated gif picture the animation will be lost and you will be able to download only the first resized frame of the animated picture.

 

(1) If you do not have mobile internet service enabled on your mobile phone select a picture form TagTag pictures directory on our internet site, select a picture from our collection. By clicking on Download to mobile phone link the detailed picture page will open.

(2) Click on the Download button on the picture's description page. Save the picture to the local disc of your computer. Consult mobile phone user's manual on how to copy downloaded picture from your computer to your mobile phone.

 

Q: Can I share my pictures with other TagTag visitors?

A: You are welcome to contribute any picture which is not copyright protected. Note that all pictures that violate copyright will be deleted from TagTag pictures directory as soon as we become aware of the copyright violations. If you would like to share a picture, click here or

(1) Open TagTag pictures directory.

(2) Select link Contribute pictures to the directory.

(3) To select the picture you want to upload from your computer click Browse and find the picture on your computer.

(4) Enter a short description for the picture you are uploading.

(5) From the dropdown menu select a category where you want to upload the picture too.

(6) Enter the security code displayed on the right side of the text field. To submit the picture to TagTag press Upload and wait until request is being processed. Do not press Stop button in your browser.

When uploading a picture to TagTag public pictures directory the picture will be listed in the category you have chosen after approved by TagTag moderator. TagTag moderator may refuse the picture or move it to another category.

Note: If you want to upload private pictures to TagTag you have to be a registered user at TagTag. As a registered user you can upload your personal pictures to My Pictures category, which is not public.

 

Q: What kind of pictures can I upload to TagTag?

A: You can upload pictures in .jpeg, .gif or .png format to TagTag pictures directory.

 

Q: When uploading a picture to TagTag I get an error message displayed: "Picture is too big". What is wrong?

A: The picture you want to upload to a category in TagTag pictures directory may not exceed the size of 1 Mb and/or 1.000 x 1.000 pixels. If the resolution of the picture you are uploading is bigger than 500 x 500 pixels, we will automatically resize it to 500 x 500 pixels during uploading process.

Or you can get this error message if you are uploading a picture to the My pictures category and you do not have enough free space available for uploading files in your account.

 

Q: The picture I downloaded does not display on my mobile phone. What could be wrong?

A: Picture display size and colors is limited on all mobile phones. Please, consult your mobile phone user's manual. Older models can usually display only small black & white bitmaps. Color pictures can be displayed by newer model phones.
