Q: What is TagTag Email service?

A: With TagTag Email service you can view your emails with your mobile phone. You can access to your emails from more email accounts at one place.

 

Q: How do I setup mail account?

A: To use the full features of TagTag Email you should be a registered user. TagTag Email service is part of your mobile site.

Login to your account at TagTag and open your mobile site in the mobile site editor.
If you have not created your mobile site yet, find more information about this here.

(1) Add a new page to your mobile site.

On the left side of the editor you will find the structure of your mobile site. To add a new page to your mobile site click on the Add new page link or go with the mouse over the first folder (in our case folder guide - which indicates the name of the mobile site). Click on the first icon () Create new item.

An editor for creating a new page will open.

(2) From the list of page types select Email.

(3) In the text field enter the name for the page. Use only small letters (a - z), numbers (0 - 9), hyphen (-) and no space.

Confirm creating the page by clicking the Create button. A new editor for TagTag Email Setup will open.


Once you have created the new page you have two more steps to setup TagTag Email service.

Step 1: Setting up the TagTag Email Preferences

(1) In the Preferences tab of TagTag Email Setup editor you can change the title of the page, setup limitations for the number of maximum messages shown per page and define a PIN for accessing TagTag email with your mobile phone.

(2) Here you can change the page title for your email page. In the text field enter a new title of the page.

(3) Here you can set the limits for the number of Messages per page.

(4) The default PIN to access TagTag email with your mobile phone is your TagTag account password. You can change the PIN. To confirm the new PIN re-type it in the Repeat PIN text box.

PIN must be at least three (3) characters long, may contain letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), hyphen (-) but no spaces. Make sure it is difficult for others to guess your PIN!

(5) To confirm any changes you have made to TagTag Email Preferences you have to Save them.

Step 2: Setting up the TagTag Email Account Settings

(1) In the Account Settings tab of TagTag Email Setup editor you can setup the email accounts you want to access with your mobile phone. The number of accounts you can access is not limited! Once you have setup different email accounts you will find them listed here.

(2) To add an email account click on the Add account icon.

(3) Enter a name for the account. This will help you to separate accounts, if you will setup more than one email account.

(4) From the dropdown menu select the account type. TagTag Email supports POP3 and IMAP email accounts.

When you select POP3 or IMAP email account, you will also have to enter the server address and (or) port number. If you do not know these information, ask your system administrator or if you use public email service, ask the operator of the site.

(5) Enter username and password for accessing your email account.

(6) Enter your name. This name will be displayed in the sender's address.

(7) Reply to: you can enter a different email address. This enables you to receive replies to your sent emails from this account to the email address you specify here.

(8) You can enter a signature which will be included to your emails. Check the Add signature box to add the signature to your sent emails automatically.

 

(1) Once you have added the email accounts you will find them all listed in the Account settings tab.

(2) Here you can edit the settings for email accounts you have already added or delete them from TagTag Email.

Tip: For quick access to TagTag Email put a link on the homepage of your mobile site to your TagTag Email page. Put the URL address of your mobile site into bookmarks on your mobile phone

 

Q: Can I use TagTag Email for more mail accounts?

A: Yes. There are no limitations on the number of email accounts you setup with TagTag Email. The advantage for using TagTag Email is that you can access all email accounts you setup on one mobile site.

 

Q: What types of email accounts does TagTag Email support?

A:TagTag Email supports POP3 and IMAP email accounts.

When you select POP3 or IMAP email account, you will also have to know the server address and (or) port number. If you do not know these information, ask your system administrator or if you use public email service, ask the operator of the site.

 

Q: How do I use TagTag Email?

A: (1) With your mobile phone access your mobile site and open TagTag Email page.

(2) Enter PIN to access your TagTag Email account.

(3) And press the Login button to login to TagTag Email.

(4) Once successfully logged in you will enter your TagTag Email account. Here you will find all your email accounts listed. Select one from the list.

(5) Now you can access your emails and compose new email messages.

 

 

Q: Do I have to be a registered user to use TagTag Email?

A: Yes. To use the full features of TagTag Email you should be a registered user as TagTag Email service is part of your mobile site.

Unregistered visitors of TagTag mobile site can also access their POP or IMAP email accounts, but will have to enter more information each time they want to access their email account.

(1) With your mobile phone's browser, open our mobile site at http://tagtag.com and select the Mobile e-mail link.

(2) Enter all the required information needed for accessing your email account (username, password, server name, select server type and authorization type from drop-down menu).

(3) Click on Go button to login to your email account.

You will now be able to read, reply, forward or delete your emails or compose new email messages.
