Q: How can I create my mobile blog?

A: You have to be a registered user for creating mobile blogs. Login to your account at TagTag.

(1) In my.TagTag console select link Start new Blog. You will enter a wizard which will help you create your mobile blog.

(2) A mobile blog must be part of a TagTag mobile site. You can create a new blog within an existing mobile site or create a new mobile site.
From the dropdown menu you can select an existing mobile site.

(3) Blogs's description: enter a description for your mobile blog. Read more about how to use the description editor here.

To create your mobile blog click on the Go >> button.

(4) You can also decide to create your blog on a new mobile site. Select the radio button at Create a new site. Enter a site name, description of your mobile site and choose a category of your mobile site. You will also have to enter a description for your mobile blog.

To create your mobile blog click on the Go >> button.

Next you will receive confirmation of successfully creating your mobile blog at TagTag. With selecting the link Start editing your mobile blog the blog will open in the editor where you will be able to write entries to your mobile blog.

A: Here you can enter a description of your mobile blog and design the first page of your blog!

Q: How can I post entries to my mobile blog?

A: When creating a new blog you can proceed to write entries to your blog by selecting the link Start editing your mobile blog. The blog will load in the blog editor or enter the editor from my.TagTag.

(1) To add new entries to your blog you have to open the blog in the editor. In my.TagTag go to the My Mobile Blogs section and choose the link edit.

(2) To write a new entry to your mobile blog open the second tab New entry in the blog editor.

(3) In the text field write the title of the blog entry.

(4) The editor enables you to write the blog entry. Read more about working with the editor here.

Before exiting the editor make sure you save the changes you have made.

 

Q: How can I edit my mobile Blog?

A: To edit your mobile Blog login to your account at TagTag. In my.TagTag open your blog in the editor - for this go to section My Mobile Blogs and choose the link edit. The blog will load in the editor.

With the blog editor you can add, delete or edit blog entries from your mobile blog, remove comments, edit blog Preferences, setup the translation texts for your mobile blog.

 

Q: Can I edit entries of my mobile Blog?

A: To edit your mobile Blog login to your account at TagTag. In my.TagTag open your blog in the editor - for this go to section My Mobile Blogs and choose the link edit. The blog will load in the editor.

(1) In the tab Blog entries you will find all your blog entries listed.

(2) To edit an existing blog entry click on the entry title and the blog entry you selected will load in the blog editor. Find more information about blog editor here.

 

Q: Can I delete entries from my mobile Blog?

A: To remove entries from your mobile blog login to your account at TagTag. In my.TagTag open your mobile blog in the editor - for this go to section My Mobile Blogs and choose the link edit. In the tab Blog entries click on delete entry button beside the post you want to remove from your blog. You will be asked to confirm deleting the entry.

 

Q: Can I remove user comments from my mobile Blog?

A: Visitors of your blog can post comments to each blog entry. You can remove inappropriate user comment from your mobile blog.

To remove comments from your mobile blog login to your account at TagTag. In my.TagTag open your mobile blog in the editor - for this go to section My Mobile Blogs and choose the link edit.

(1) In the tab Blog entries you will find all your blog entries listed.

(2) Click on the link Comment to display all comments of your blog's entry.

(3) Find the comment your want to delete and click on Delete comment.
You will be asked to confirm deleting the comment.

 

Q: Can I change the language in my mobile Blog?

A: Yes, you can translate the text for your mobile blog. The default language used in your mobile blog is English. You can translate single words to your own language.

Login to your account and open your mobile blog in the blog editor.

(1) In the editor select the fourth tab Translations.

(2) In the text fields enter the translation for the words.

(3) Confirm the changes by clicking the Save button.

 

Q: Can I have more than one mobile blog at TagTag?

A: Yes, you can have more than one mobile Blog as part of your mobile site(s) at TagTag. There is no limitation of the number of mobile blogs.

 

Q: Where can I edit the description of my Mobile Blog?

A: You can change the description of your mobile blog in the blog editor.

Login to your account and open your blog in the blog editor.

(1) In the editor select the third tab Preferences.

Here you can change the title of your mobile blog. In the text field enter a new title for your mobile blog.

(2) In the description editor you can change the appearance of the first page of your mobile blog. Read more about how to use the editor here.

(3) Here you can set the limits of the number of Entries per page and the number of Entry comments per page.

(4) To confirm any changes you have made to blog Preferences you have to Save them.

 

Q: Can I write my mobile blog with my mobile phone?

A: No, you can only write blog entries using the blog editor with your computer. At this time TagTag does not support writing blog entries with your mobile phone.
