Q: How can I create my Mobile Album at TagTag?

A: You have to be a registered user for creating mobile albums. Login to your account at TagTag.

(1) In my.TagTag console select link Create new Album. You will enter a wizard which will help you create your mobile album.

(2) A mobile album must be part of a TagTag mobile site. You can create the album within an existing mobile site or create a new mobile site.
From the dropdown menu you can select an existing mobile site.

Album's Title: enter a title for your mobile album.

(3) Album's description: enter a description for your mobile album. Read more about how to use the description editor here.

To create your mobile album click on the Go >> button.

(4) You can also decide to create the album on a new mobile site. Select the radio button at Create a new site. Enter a site name, description of your mobile site and choose a category of your mobile site. You will also have to enter a title and description for your mobile album.

To create your mobile album click on the Go >> button.

Next you will receive confirmation of successfully creating your mobile album at TagTag. With selecting the link Start uploading pictures to your mobile album the album will open in the editor where you will be able to upload pictures to it.

Q: How can I edit the description of my Mobile Album?

A: Here you can enter a description of your mobile album and design the first page of your album!

Q: How can I add pictures to my Album?

A: When creating a new album you can proceed to adding pictures to your album by selecting the link Start uploading pictures.The album will load in the album editor or enter the editor from my.TagTag.

(1) To add pictures to your album you have to open the album in the editor. In my.TagTag go to the My Albums section and choose the link edit.

(2) The album will open in the editor. Click the Upload picture button to upload pictures to your album. Enter a description for the picture you want to upload to your album and select Browse to find the picture on your computer.

Note that the picture you want to upload to your Mobile Album may not exceed the size of 1 Mb and/or 1.000 x 1.000 pixels. If the resolution of the picture you are uploading is bigger then 500 x 500 pixels, we will automatically resize it to 500 x 500 pixels
during uploading process.

The pictures you have uploaded to your album are listed in the editors window.

(3) After pictures are uploaded you can still edit the description for each picture. Choose the link edit beside the picture and a new window will open where you can enter the new description for the picture. To confirm the changes you made click Save. To close the pop-up window for editing picture description click on Close window.

To delete a picture from your album select the link delete beside the picture. You will be asked to confirm deleting the picture.

 

Q: How can I edit my Album?

A: To edit your album login to your account at TagTag. In my.TagTag open your album in the editor - for this go to section My Albums and choose the link edit. The album will load in the editor.

With the album editor you can add or remove pictures from your album, remove comments, add or remove Tags, edit album Preferences, setup the translation texts for your album.

 

Q: How can I remove pictures from my Album?

A: To remove images from your album login to your account at TagTag. In my.TagTag open your album in the editor - for this go to section My Albums and choose the link edit. In the tab pictures click on delete beside the picture you want to remove from your album. You will be asked to confirm deleting the picture.

 

Q: How can I access my Album with my mobile phone?

A: To access your album with your mobile phone directly enter the URL address of your album. The URL address of your album is like for example http://tagtag.com/sitename/albumname, where "sitename" stands for the name of your mobile site and "albumname" stands for the name of your mobile album.

 

Q: What is a public Album?

A: You can change the status of your album to public. This means that the pictures from your album will be listed in our public pictures directory in the category Albums. Before the pictures will be seen in our public pictures directory TagTag moderator has to approve them.

To change the status of your mobile album to public you have to login to your account at TagTag. In the section where your albums are listed check the box public.
Your album will be processed to approving. After TagTag moderator approves the pictures of your album it will be listed in public pictures directory.

If you decide that you no longer want to share your album in our public pictures directory un-check the check box and your album will become private again.

 

Q: Can I remove user comments from my Album?

A: Yes, you can remove inappropriate user comment from your album.

First login to your account and open your album in the album editor.

(1) In the editor select the second tab Comments. Here you will find all user comments for your Album listed. You can delete single inappropriate comments by selecting Delete comment button.

 

Q: Can I add and remove Tags for my Album?

A: Yes, you can add and remove inappropriate tags for your album.

Login to your account and open your album in the album editor.

(1) In the editor select the third tab Tags. Here you will find all tags for your Album listed. You can delete single inappropriate tags by selecting Delete button beside the Tag.

(2) To add a Tag for your mobile album enter the text in the text box and click Add Tag.

 

Q: Where can I edit the description of my Album?

A: You can change the description of your mobile album in the album editor.

Login to your account and open your album in the album editor.

(1) In the editor select the fourth tab Preferences.

Here you can change the title of your mobile album. In the text field enter a new title for your album.

(2) In the description editor you can change the appearance of the first page of your mobile album. Read more about how to use the editor here.

(3) If you want to add your album to our public pictures directory you can check the box Add Photo Album to public directory.

(4) To confirm any changes you have made to album Preferences you have to Save them.

 

Q: Can I change the language in my Album?

A: Yes, you can translate the text for your Album. The default language used in your album is English. You can translate single words to your own language.

Login to your account and open your album in the album editor.

(1) In the editor select the fifth tab Translations.

(2) In the text fields enter the translation for the words.

(3) Confirm the changes by clicking the Save button.

 

Q: Can I have more mobile Albums at TagTag?

A: Yes, you can have more than one mobile Album as part of your mobile site(s) at TagTag. There is no limitation of the number of mobile albums.
